I have had so many emails asking how I did that I put together a little online workshop My inspiration was the steampunk look. Inside the bulb is rusty chicken wire, the image is one of my front/back transparencys (instructions for front/back images are on my website). The top is a old perfume funnel and the spiral is a watch spring. I should have put the mini fairy lights inside and I might just take it apart and do that :)

What fun! Makes me think of exotic places - Morocco, maybe - until I saw the close-up view with the child. Amazing what can be done with stuff that just looks like junk to the casual viewer!
Awesome, Inka...laughing here, I was intrigued with your base...I have a couple of those grinders..one was my mom's, the other mine...I think you better keep it hidden!! He will probably get the yet to make sausage again.

It is a very kwel light bulb, i took Michale's class and did a double light bulb. I never put it on my blog but I may someday. Anyway i think your is awesome!

What a great lamp! SO fairy! One of the ideas I would have had myself! :)
How about challenging your husband to make sausage.. if he says no, then you are in the clear! And if he says yes, then let him do so provided that he is able to find his eqipment within lets say.. 7 minutes. If not, he looses his title and rank as 'sausagemaker of the house' - not having proper control of his tools! ;)
